SICAM 2019

From 15 to 18 October, the Fincibec Group is making its first appearance at SICAM, the international exhibition of components, semifinished products and accessories for the furniture industry, at the Fiera exhibition centre in Pordenone, Hall 5 Stand C40. Ceramic slabs are an innovative offer for the exhibition’s visitors, who always pay particular attention to top-performing solutions, materials and design for contemporary decor. The FIRE and OVER ceramic slabs, measuring a record 160×320 cm with a 12 mm thickness, open up new possibilities for kitchen and bathroom countertops, as well as for personalised furnishings for every type of residential and public space.

Century is at Cersaie 2019 in Bologna from 23 to 27 September with new collections to meet the needs of contemporary design. In Hall 20 Stand A6 of the international ceramics show for architecture, the Fincibec Group is presenting original projects blending natural inspirations and metropolitan concepts.

The 2019 edition of the Tiles Fair of Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment is set to take place on 25 and 26 June in Lille (France), the prestigious show that dedicates each year to new trends and the most innovative ceramic solutions. Fusion and Glam are among the products that Century has selected to present the completeness and versatility of Made in Italy porcelain tiles to transalpine professionals, which are ideal for interiors and exteriors in residential, commercial, and public buildings.

Every Friday in June 2019, the Fincibec Campus in Sassuolo is hosting a series of interesting meetings on slabs. The meetings, for architects and design professionals, examine the production process, applications and ceramic surface treatment of the FIRE and OVER ranges.

In addition to a visit to see CONTINUA, the innovative technology Fincibec has introduced in its factories to meet current and future market requirements, the meetings offer an in-depth analysis of the inspirations behind the FIRE and OVER catalogues, a focus on technical questions such as slab handling and cutting, and end with an exclusive preview of the projects being developed for the next Cersaie.

Les nouveaux produits et les futurs projets du Groupe Fincibec ont été au centre du Meeting Agenti 2019 qui s’est tenu le 27 mai au Fincibec Campus de Sassuolo et a réuni toutes les entreprises membres du Groupe. Glam is the new project by Century that takes inspiration from the contemporary architectural landscape, in a perfect balance between clean lines that break the horizon of the man-made area and traditional elements linked to the history of the location. Glam is inspired by the most compact and elegant natural stones, which serve as perfect building materials and offer a timeless charm, dictated by the richness of surface details and the sober elegance of colour.

With a catalogue rich in modular formats available with natural and lapped finishes, Glam meets the most diverse needs in residential, public, and commercial spaces. The hues of Glam include light and luminous tones such as white and beige, versatile and captivating nuances such as grey and dove grey, and the decisive anthracite, to be freely paired to match the design of both interior and exterior spaces. A decorative offering inspired by the world of cement tiles and perfectly coordinated with the colours of the collection, Glam can be used in spaces for well-being and living, such as bathrooms and kitchens.

The range is also aimed at outdoor design through traditional grip thickness solutions and 20 mm Glam TWO solutions, which represent an ideal solution for creating walkways and driveways in outdoor areas.

Coverings 2019 will be held from 9 to 12 April in Orlando (Florida, USA), for an audience of professionals and distributors of surfaces for architecture. For the occasion, Century will present its new collections in booth 1725 in the Italian Pavilion, starting with Fusion, with its fresh and modern beauty that embodies the solidity of cement, and Glam, inspired by the most compact and homogeneous natural stones, which is rich in detail and available in five simple and refined colours. Also on display is the new updated and expanded TWO range for use in outdoor design, with a grip surface and thickness of 20 mm.
